1 - Send Out Invitations
Each Convivium board game includes invitations to use when inviting guests. The host has the choice of supplying all the ingredients or you can write on the invitation what items the guest needs to bring.
2 - Prepare the Table
The amount of preparation is up to the host - some like to go all out by creating a festive atmosphere that matches the dinner theme (Mexican Fiesta is included). It's up to you. No matter what you decide Convivium has the ingredients of making an enjoyable time with friends and family. Before playing be sure to check out our entertaining ideas.
3 - Play the Game!
Convivium includes fun food trivia, ice breaker questions, name that dinner music, and original toasts. Test your skills and food knowledge. To view sample questions be sure to look at the bottom of each page. Mouse over questions to view answers. If you're good you might be able to stay out of the kitchen!
4 - Get in the Kitchen
Depending on how you finish in each round, cooking and serving duties will be issued and performed. No matter what your skills are in the kitchen don't worry. Complete instructions for preparing the meal are included.
5 - Enjoy the Company
Easy to follow finish line recipe cards and serving instructions get everyone involved in the meal. The lucky winners just relax.
The game is played in 3 rounds (appetizer, main entree, and dessert rounds) or, depending on time, you can just play one or more rounds. It's up to you. As an added bonus free menus are available to download.
